I regularly check my site’s Google Analytics to see what’s happening with my blog posts. And at the end of each year, I do a deep dive into my numbers. Once again, over the course of the year, my most popular posts are the ones about podcasting. This shouldn’t be a surprise, since podcasting is a topic to which I return again and again.

Here then are my top 10 posts for 2018:

Best practices for internal podcasting

How to read a podcast script and not sound like you’re reading

The Podcast Scripting Book is now available

Podcasting definition

Podcasting tip sheet

Outline for a typical podcast script

Sharing stories with audio: podcasting for internal communications

What’s the maximum number of guests for a podcast?

Basic equipment and software for podcasting

So, you want to start a podcast?

It’s easy to see that both internal podcasting and podcast scripting are perennially popular topics, based on my analytics for the past few years.

I do chuckle when I witness the popularity of my “podcast definition” post. For sure it’s also the post with the highest bounce rate. No surprise there.

For 2019, I’ll continue producing podcasts for clients and writing about the craft of podcasting. More and more organizations are turning to this form of communication. Music to my ears!

Happy 2019 to you and yours.
