Are you taking advantage of all the search engine optimization (SEO) benefits of blogging? Of course you already know about writing great content that’s relevant to your audience, and crafting compelling headlines to attract readers. But what about the URLs for your blog posts? If your URL is something like “blog.yoursitename.com/?p=758,” you’re wasting an opportunity.
Instead of this non-SEO-friendly URL, edit the heading in WordPress to something like “blog.yoursitename.com/tips-for-blogging-success.”
Just hit “edit” and type in a meaningful and relevant URL for your post. Use dashes (not underscores) to separate words.
Try this and see if you get more search traffic to your posts.
